Gasping Gobbler 5K Run/Walk 2007
What a bueatiful, crisp day we had for all the walkers and runners of the Lovell Rec Gasping Gobbler 5K. 75 people came out to support Lovell Rec and we appriciate it. There were raffle prizes from many local businesses. Turkeys were given out for prizes as well as ribbons. New this year, we had teams from the local schools compete for special ribbons. Pictures

Gasping Gobbler 5K Run/Walk
We are thankful that not only did we exceed the number participants expected for our first annual Gasping Gobbler 5K Run/Walk fundraising activity, but also the superb weather day we received after a dismal
week. So many families enjoyed our event and that our Lovell Recreation Department is pleased to have organized and hosted this health promotion activity. PICTURES
Soccer Notes
Soccer was a great success this year thanks to great coaching. The children learned some wonderful skills, had lots of fun and played some close games against neighboring towns.

Halloween Party!!
A spooktacular night was had by all. Attendance was nearly doubled from last year. A great big hand goes out to Sarah Rose and her family for all that they did. Thanks to Martha Armington and Martha Gribz for their help. The Lovell UCC Youth Group did an awesome job scaring our community trick or treaters with the elaborate haunted house. Gallery Pictures
ART in Lovell
Every summer the Lovell Rec and Hobbs Library host Art In Lovell taught by Sara and Bond of the Priscilla Bond Gallery. From making flags to Napal or self portraits, the kids love it. Check out the photo gallery.
Bike Rodeo Success!!
Despite the rain and bugs, we had 17 children enjoy the rodeo. The PTA and Lovell rec department provided a cookout and baked goods for the whole gang. A huge thanks goes out to Hurricane Mountain Multi Sport, Maine Winter Sports Center, Gorham Bike & Ski, and Downeast Cyclist for contributing to a great rodeo.
