Tour De Lovell Wrap-up
The 3rd Annual Tour de Lovell in Lovell, Maine was Saturday, August 9th in perhaps the driest morning in over a week of rainy thunderstorm conditions. In ideal low 70-degree temperatures and sunny morning skies, 58 cheerful cyclists participated in this bicycling event to raise monies for the Lovell Recreation Department and the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library youth programs.

Lovell Old Home Days
Lovell Old Home days came and went with a sunny day and happy faces all around. This years float theme was the Olympics and the children did a great job decorating the float. After the parade, Lovell Rec sponsored the Lollipop run. Every participant received a rubber ducky, a ribbon to mark their success, and a giant lollipop. In the afternoon we played an inning of softball. Sadly the day had to end, but the next Old Home Days are just 365 days away!
